M. Mouse

A little prologue…

I just wanted to make The Mouse. I saw it as a challenge. I knew it would look hilariously awesome if I managed to do it, and Voilà! He is! Seeing him fight all badass with Devil Jin’s movestyle is so rewarding, even more since I managed to give him the SAME voice thanks to the voice alteration properties (yes, when he punches he goes “Hoh!”).

=> Main Creation Details:

• For the ears it was used Apples removed of depth. (I know they look darker than the skin, but if they get lighter the stem of the apple looks too distracting, and if instead of the depth we lower the length it doesn’t look circular.
• The nose is also an Apple.
• The face is composed of the Heart and Circle stamps.
• The voice is Scoundrel with Pitch of 35 and a Tone of -5. (It sounds exactly like him)
• Body

Height: 1;

Upper Arms: -20;

Pectorals: -4;

Hips:5;

Thighs:11;

Calves:3;

Stomach:15;

Waist:11;

• The movestyle used was that of Devil Jin’s for hilariousness purposes. (Specially the CE… the CE!!!!!)

Quick SCV Creation: Homer J. Simpson

Moveset: Aeon (For the deliciously looking pieces of meat).

Alt: Cervantes (For the brochette). 

Notes: He was done by accident. It all started by passing through the yellow hue of the skin and BOOM! I ended up making Homer. He’s hilarious to watch, specially when he uses Aeon’s wing attack.

Sherlock (BBC): Sherlock Holmes

(Based on stills and videos of “Sherlock”)

A little prologue…

I was introduced to “Sherlock” by a dear friend. Before the series, my main contact with the lore was common popular knowledge and Guy Ritchie’s movies. I loved all the elements in the movies from the performances to the soundtrack. I hesitated watching the series due to my liking of the movies, but one day I said “Why not both?” and after being picked up by a seemingly random group of people with trumpets in the background, I proceeded to watch the two seasons of “Sherlock” and I fell in love as with the movies. I liked everything (even Irene Adler, which was surprising due to my crush on Rachel McAdams). So, as with most of my interests, I mixed Soulcalibur with “Sherlock”. Here’s Sherlock Holmes himself using the harpoon:

=> Main Creation Details:

• Used the checkered pattern to give that wool-ish texture to the coat.
• Used the “sprinkles” pattern to give that irregular texture to the scarf.
• The obvious choice was Patroklos hairstyle. I mean, look at the guy!
• Used the last of the eyebrows option, since it’s almost identical to Benedict’s eyebrows.
• Of course, no one can forget that mesmerizing pair of skyblue eyes.
• It was a challenge making him white enough to notice his whiteness, but not enough to making him look like a fabulous vampire.
• Hilde’s Movestyle was chosen, mainly for comedic purposes.

Full Metal Alchemist: Greed (Ling Yao)

(Based on stills of FMA and FMA:Brotherhood)

A little prologue…

I finished watching Brotherhood last year and it really got in. I fell in love with it’s character design and plot. Although I watched some episodes of the first FMA, and listened to its openings and endings religiously, the series didn’t resonate with me at that time.

Seeing Esuteru’s Edward inspired me to make my version and to try and make other characters. The second is The Second Greed. Which is my favorite character of the series.

=> Main Creation Details:

• For the face lines, two pairs of Heart stamps were used. As with Edward’s Jacket, the red heart goes first and then a slightly smaller gray heart to make the red outline.
• The fangs were made with the Long Horns. The exact measures are:

Equipped Location:  Head

Horizontal/Vertical/Back: 2/-17/-2

Width/Length/Depth: -50/-50/-50

Rotate V/Rotate H/Angle: 115/-17/-115

• The Ear muffs/thingamajingy are Apples. Yep, you read that right, Apples.
• The Training Belt was used to cut the “skirt” part of the Noble Garment.

Amaterasu

(Based on the main character of the same name of “OKAMI”)

I saw this creation as a challenge. Firstly, I dedicate this to Braulio one of my best friends that’s a little under the weather right now. And secondly, this is my Animals Head entry for the new contest at fuckyeahsoulcaliburcreations.

What is this furry-looking fellah supposed to be? Well it’s the sun-goddess Amaterasu as she appears in the game ŌKAMI (which is a pun god/wolf). Using the Divine Instruments known as: The Devout Beads Rosary, the Thunder Edge Glaive and what supposedly is the Divine Retribution Reflector. She uses Siegfried’s Soul due to it’s Critical Edge resembling her Blizzard attack and the Soul Calibur (Hidden) sword resembling the Thunder Edge Glaive. In few words, because it looks cool and kind of fits the character.

Full Metal Alchemist: Edward Elric

(Based on stills of FMA and FMA:Brotherhood)

A little prologue…

I finished watching Brotherhood last year and it really got in. I fell in love with it’s character design and plot. Although I watched some episodes of the first FMA, and listened to its openings and endings religiously, the series didn’t resonate with me at that time.

Seeing Esuteru’s Edward inspired me to make my version and to try and make other characters. The first is Edward Elric.

=> Main Creation Details:

• Smallest Height used.
• The coat’s hooks-and-eye closure were colored metallic because it looks aesthetically better than plain red.
• Edward’s French Braid was made with the Equipment: BOTTLE GOURD. (See pic 2).
• The white lines in the jacket are made with two big squares, one white square and another smaller black square. The collar can be any figure you feel comfortable with.
• Motif 76 was used for the Elric’s Insignia on the back of the coat.
• The white robed version of Edward was also created. (See pic 5 and 6).
• The Arm Blade Version. (See pic 4 and 9.)
• I used Nightmare’s Soul because of two reasons: (1.) I love and use Nightmare, (2.) I justify it by saying it fits with Edward’s because of his arm and leg auto-mail and I can imagine Edward transmuting a sword like that and using it to prove his shortness isn’t an disadvantage.

It’s a bird… It’s a plane… It’s Devil Jin… It’s SUPERMAN!

(Inspired by a mixture of comics and Superman Returns)

When I started using my Batman with the Devil Jin moveset I was happy because he looked pretty cool kicking swordsman with just his fists, but the laser beam never fitted the character. I then thought, who does this spandex-wearing dude shooting lasers reminded me of? SUPERMAN. And Boom! I created Superman. It looks so awesome shooting lasers and flying. Let the blue boy scout do the hardwork!

• 2/18/2012 - Changed the SUPERMAN symbol and updated new picture format.

The Joker!

(Obviously inspired by The Dark Knight’s rendition.)

With the incredibly fitting Dampierre Move Style. ALL THE MOVES FIT. It’s bedazzling to see this creation fight. I hope to post a Batman vs Joker video soon.

The “Heath Ledger” face has been in since the past Soulcalibur, but in this one they included an “pale wrinkled” make up. I was in shock, “At last!” I said, and started to get the look that I wanted. The actual white “make-up” is a giant white circle stamp, the eyes are the ripped leather stamp and the mouth is the only kanji that’s a line. Again, I’ll post the formula soon.

P.S. The fourth picture. Doesn’t it look exactly like the end of the TDK’s trailer? It gives me happy chills.
