Hi! I'm Mr. Brownie, a california-based illustrator. I've studied graphic design engineering at Tijuana. I love the superhero mythos, hot-blooded Batfan here. I've been drawing since I could manage to get something that leaves a mark and never stopped since.

UMvC3 Icons - Felicia by ~mrbrownie
I still can’t manage to make Frank West, I’m just blocked with him. Maybe he’s just boring to make.
About the artwork:
This is a series of icons of several characters inspired by the design style of “Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3” T-shirts that they were giving at Comic-Con. I really enjoyed the minimalist and constructivism inspired style they used, so I decided to apply it to my favorites characters from UMvC 3 and some other from different franchises. In this case… The Feline Ferocity Felicia!

UMvC3 Icons - Nova by ~mrbrownie
I’m supposed to be doing Frank West and Vergil right now, but I couldn’t resist making Nova, so yeah, here it is in his blue-blazing best:

UMvC3 Icons - Hulk by ~mrbrownie
I had such a hard time making a Hulk that would satisfy me. It’s such an iconic and simple character that it’s really, really difficult to simplify, but I managed to design one that I actually ended up loving.

UMvC3 Icons - Rocket Raccoon by ~mrbrownie
Everytime I opened the icon’s file, this little fellow always stared at me like if he was telling me “You bettah make me pretty ya wanker!”. I loved the final result, it feels really flowy.

UMvC3 Icons - Taskmaster by ~mrbrownie
Update: Made the corners and overall outline round, giving it a more organic look. I wasn’t satisfied with the sharp corners, it made it look half-baked.
UMvC3 Icons - Hsien Ko (Lin Lin) by ~mrbrownie
This has been one of the most requested characters, well, actually, all three women from Darkstalkers are quite requested. So that’s two down, one to go. Felicia, I’m looking at you!

UMvC3 Icons - Haggar by ~mrbrownie
Loved how the squint ended up looking. Mike Haggar is pretty much a wrestler version of Freddy Mercury on steroids.

UMvC3 Icons - Iron Fist by ~mrbrownie
After months of retirement I come back stronger than ever, not unlike the Batman himself. This was a petition from a fellow deviantArt member. With this new wave of vector icons I’ll try to give more subtle unique details to each one of the characters.

Hi guys! I’m Rogelio from Tijuana/San Diego. And I’m participating on the t-shirt design contest for The Dark Knight Rises. I’ve been a lifelong Bat-fan and this is my chance to actually contribute to the brand. I would appreciate it very much if you can help me by Voting for it. You may need to register, but it’s fairly quick and painless. You’re helping a young boy to fulfill his dream as a grown-up, thank you very very very much.
M. Mouse
(Based on YouknowwhatletterImTalkingAbout-isney)
A little prologue…
I just wanted to make The Mouse. I saw it as a challenge. I knew it would look hilariously awesome if I managed to do it, and Voilà! He is! Seeing him fight all badass with Devil Jin’s movestyle is so rewarding, even more since I managed to give him the SAME voice thanks to the voice alteration properties (yes, when he punches he goes “Hoh!”).
=> Main Creation Details:
Height: 1;
Upper Arms: -20;
Pectorals: -4;
Hips:5;
Thighs:11;
Calves:3;
Stomach:15;
Waist:11;
Well that pretty much wraps it up. Hope you like it!
By the way, I’ll keep updating this post with any improvements I make.

Quick SCV Creation: Homer J. Simpson
Moveset: Aeon (For the deliciously looking pieces of meat).
Alt: Cervantes (For the brochette).
Notes: He was done by accident. It all started by passing through the yellow hue of the skin and BOOM! I ended up making Homer. He’s hilarious to watch, specially when he uses Aeon’s wing attack.

Quick SCV Creation: Pokèmon’s Mewtwo
Moveset: Viola (For the Shadow ball).
Notes: I wanted to make my favorite Pokèmon for the contest at fuckeyeahsoulcaliburcreations. I’m happy with the results.

Quick SCV Creation: Batman (Neal Adams Version)
Moveset: Devil Jin (Like ALL superheroes).
Notes: I wanted to make a blue Batman since finishing my other one, this one was an experiment using the executioner hood for a mask with mouth opening. Instead of the Long Horns as in the first Batman CAS, I used the Rabbit Ears for the bat-ears and for the nose I used thePyramid. I sacrificed the Bat-insignia for the blue underpants.
